UPDATE: Cajun Invasion takes FIRST PLACE!

Games of Acadiana Reaux for Miles benefiting Miles Perret Cancer Services at Sugar Mill Pond. We have many of our out-of-town guests coming this year and it promises to be an interesting regatta. Come in early and stay through Sunday. Freddy has gumbo on Friday night at their house. We will have a team crawfish boil on Saturday with swimming and fishing all night after the regatta. We will barbeque (cajun style) on Sunday.

What an exciting way to end our 2007 season! First place in Houston at the 4th Annual Gulf International Dragon Boat Regatta BCS division and also First Place Overall in the whole Festival. The team was fabulous and the dreaded 1,000 meter race was the most exciting for them all. They will have a smile for about a year thinking about how much they learned and how well they did. The Pirates from Blazing Paddles were awesome and we melted together so well. We were the only team that met each other at the festival and paddled together...but it worked. http://www.texasdragonboat.com
